Youth Explosion for Christ International (YMECI) wants everyone to be able to use www.ymeci.org, including people with disabilities.
What we are doing
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level as closely as we can. So far, we have:
• Added text descriptions to images
• Used clear headings and a logical page order
• Set the site language so screen readers read it correctly
• Kept motion and flashing effects to a minimum
Where we are still working
Some parts of our site come from outside services, like our donation forms (Zeffy), event listings, and social media. We cannot fully control how accessible those are, and we keep reviewing and improving our own pages.
